I try to use the turntable on Phono 1 and it buzzes.
I try it on Phono 2 and it doesn't play.
Is it the stereo or the turntable?
How would I go about fixing this?

.

You haven't provided much information. A "buzz" when using a phono input normally means the table has to be grounded to the receiver. There should ba a grounding wire running from the turntable that needs the be attached to a ground lug on the back of the receiver's input area.

Is there such a wire and lug on your system?
