OK just bought an Onkyo 607 reciever. Looking for some 7.1 speakers for it. I would also like some speakers that can bump some music for party situations. I envision 2 tall floor speakers, a center speaker, and the 4 surround speakers. Looking to spend 500-700 total. Enlighten me please.

I havn't looked a t klipch lately, but high spl and efficiency seem in order.

The OP will definitely not be disappointed.

I'll repeat, if I was doing a HT/Party Room, C-V! would be my first choice regardless of any (realistic) budget.

If this room doubles as a living-space, the Infinity Primus is probably the better choice.
