It is. The Dayens (Ampino) amp he eludes to in his review has also garnered high praise considering its modest price. I always enjoy reminders that megabucks are not required to acheive audio contentment. Just a decent space, some listening time, and careful component matching. Viola!, bliss. |

I would think 90+db would suffice, unless you're in a large room, or like your music particularly loud. I'd love to have a few of those speakers he used to review those amps. The Zu's especially. |

90+ might work for us Chris but Nuck likes it LOUD! |

Nuck spent too much time playing the drums the only way you can play them - LOUD. |

I don't even have room for my Tekton/Trends set-up at the moment, so no David, not right now. |

I think the full range Tektons would be a wonderful match for that little amp. Stable impedence around 8 ohms. |

I've heard the mid-range of the Tektons described before as "addictive". |

From what little time I've spent with them, I'd have to agree, and they're not even fully run-in. |

Something like that, and I have a party tonight. I am getting pretty tired of juggling them around, but I'd rather not sell them. If I do, I've got your number on speed dial Nuck. |

The Tektons are a bit more efficient than the Ling Singles, so the should be a much better fit. I think I told you, I was planing on buying a house when I picked these up a while back, I figured that along with the T-Amp & the Sony HD Radio receiver and/or this sweet-sounding Sony portable CD player I have, it would make for a sweet office/small room set-up. But we haven't been able to pull the trigger on a house, so they remain in the box. |

If I lived in a different house with a different wife I might try this minwatt IA and the Tektons. Then again if that were the case I would not have the cave and set up I have today.

The little flea amp holds some promise, in fact. I like the look and numbers for the Lings...hmmm... |
