You all are so great to be helping everyone. My Bose model 5 music center with the Acoustimass 25 system all of a sudden a load snap throught the speakers and then no sound. This happens more and more now. I power off and turn back on and it may work for a while but then snaps load in the speakers. Is this repairable? What did this happen? Thanks for any info. Tom |

Welcome, tom. You might want to look at the cables and wiring, as much as can be serviced (I don't know what that entails). Cheers! |

Correct. Check all your connections first. Then check the wires to see if the cat (or any other unwelcome freeloader) has chewed through it. If all looks good, then the problem is in the main unit and you need to send it off to your local repair centre. |

Good point Frank. I thought that one of my speakers in my dining room was blown (static and distortion). Turns out the cat had chewed through the speaker cable. |
