I have the subject receiver and have just installed 2 speakers in another room. I put in a volumne control in that room as well...Trying to figure out how to set a higher volumne for the b speakers and fix it so i can simply use the volumne switch i put in...i've eread the book but i'm missing it...appreciate any help, Thanks |

Mike, if you are using A+B speakers, then likely you cannot control the volume, but only attenuate it with the control that you added. If the receiver were working in multiple zones then you could. If you want higher volume in one area consistantly, then that will be the A, and attenuate the B. |

Nuck, Thanks for the reply. the 5890 has zones b and c so i have the A speakers in my main room running normally and zone B set to the B speakers (as far as I can tell) in another room...and have zone B volumne set to "fixed"....she cant seem to set the volumne they are fixed to....hope that makes sense..
