a set of Wharfedale 9.5 speakers? I can get the receiver cheap from a family member... I will use it primarily for watching TV and playing music, mostly country and classic rock. The room they will be used in is sort of large, 15x30 w/ 14ft vaulted ceilings, if this matters. I do have a 65" DLP 1080p tv. Would I be better off buying a newer receiver that can do the up converting and hdmi stuff, not likely to get a blue ray any time soon, as I basically just use the TV for watching sports and network TV shows. I could care less for surround sound and I probably won't even get a sub, bass isn't really my thing anymore. |

Not great for music but just fine for watching TV. If you can get it real cheap...perhaps you can get it and try it...tell us what you think. |
