O.k. guys. I came across this AD on CAM, a used equipment trading site. Not that I'm interested in buying but was interested in what these were and what they could be worth? Personally, other than the Mc name, looks like junk to me but I thought I'd throw it out to the experts. Jan, Mike??? http://www.canuckaudiomart.com/details/127807-mcintosh__8_pcs_of_the_cr8s_cr7r62 4r657__11_pcs_total_total/ |

Looks like a bunch of remote control devices that work which work with a C35 pre-amp and allows for 3rd party sources to be be connected. Not any real value without a specific application for it, IMO. |

New day, new Question. How would we all rate the preamp section of a MA6900 integrated? http://www.mcintoshlabs.com/products/979.asp Just wondering if this is a reasonable base for mono amps in the future? Maybe Marty McFly's future, not soon. |

It should be very smooth from my experience using a MA-6200 as a pre-amp for a bit. Why not either use the whole unit as an integrated or go with a pre only? |

Sorry I tossed this all over the place, Mike. The preamp question was only for future reference, I am sure the thing will do anything that I want in its present usage. |
