I purchased a set of mint condition NHT VT-1.2 tower speakers over the weekend locally for $300. They sound great (they need a lot of power, but my amp puts out 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms), but I'm wondering about resale down the road.

I found a posting on the 'net where the person claimed that the blue book on them was $700, and the post was only a couple of months back. If that's the case, then I got a smokin' deal. Any opinions? Thanks!

Here's the formula for figuring that out.

Subtract what you paid from how much you like them. If the number is >0 you did good. If not, not so much.

There's probably lots of deals on NHT speakers out there these days due to the fact that they're shutting down their doors.

Yep there are. The Classic 4 is the best balanced of their speakers to me.
