Do you have Yamah's Amp or Yamaha's receiver??? If you Yamaha's Amp, then your Yamaha Amp will not have any speakers connection on it. If you your Yamaha has speakers connection on it, then it is receiver. If it is a receiver, then you shouldn't use pre-out and Ch.A or Ch.B at the same time. You can use pre-out from Yamaha to External power amp for R/L front speakers. And Center, R/L Surround to receiver. If you do this, then your R/L front speakers will not balance Center, R/L Surround. It will work, but R/L front speaker will very lound then others. I will need 5Ch Amp if you want sound better. Hope this help.
