On a CDP with balanced and rca analog outputs connected to an integrated amp with rca inputs, is there any advantage to using the balanced outputs with an xlr x rca cable? |

Depends on the unit. Not all balanced lines are created or resolved equally. You should try botn. Most dealers will have a loaner set of cables to experiment with.
