Same to you Art. You've always got the sweet tunes going. I'd love to spend the remains of the day chilling with you with glass in hand over some tunes.
If you can believe it, haven't had any tunes on today - kids are running a movie. Cheers!

Sem, I have Katy Lied on vinyl, sweet stuff.

stryvn, dude you are going to go through stylus' (almost said needles, LOL) quicker than me, not counting all the Adikts that sort of self destructed on me.

Art, the second spin on something really good is often most rewarding!!!

No hard hats Neil, put a high hat would be acceptable of course.

Porter Music Box Co. - Sounds Of Christmas (797548001926)

http://cdbaby.com/cd/portermusicbox10

I bought this CD about 15-years ago in the souvenir shop at "The Breakers" mansion in Newport, Road Island. I couldn't afford to pick up an actual Porter Music Box http://www.portermusicbox.com/default.aspx , so I opted for the next best thing.

Two thumbs way up, three with enough egg nog.

P.S. If you ever get to Newport, RI, make sure you visit THE BLACK PEARL http://www.blackpearlnewport.com/ for the VERY BEST clam chowder on God's good earth.

Yeah - gotta learn to not believe that "Preview: New Message" screen that stays up after you post your message (at least not after the second time).

And by the way - that was the first track on the CD just to be clear - so I don't need to tell you one more time.

Amy Grant - I haven't heard her in ages and I have one of her CD's kicking around, maybe I'll dig that up. She was a gospel singer so a Christmas album would not be a stretch...kinda cute in her day, as well.
Diana Krall - I really love her voice, with that little bit of lisp she's got.
Sweet singers stryvn. Enjoy.

No music yet, my wife an I are watching Smallville on the PVR...while I'm hacking at the laptop. I'm hoping to get some stuff spinning tonight.

George, Amy Grant has a couple of Christmas albums that are pretty good, IMO.

Stryvn - I found it.

Amy Grant - Heart in Motion. I'll give it a re-listen to tonight. It's been years since I played it.

I also found my Tori Amos - Boys from Pelle.

I cannot speak for Amy Grant's non-Christmas offerings. I like her Christmas stuff.

And I once saw Tori Amos on Late Night playing a track from Boys for Pele. Holy *#&*@^ was she working the piano. I bought the disc. What a disappointment that was. I still like Caught a Light Sneeze though.
