Paradigm's are fine. They don't do a lot wrong. You can do better though. Whats your price range?
How big is the room? What type of music you listen to? What amp? Cd/dvd player?

Greetings the monitor 2 way bookshelf is ok at best, the larger ones suffer greatly from boominess, box resonances. Just listen to some bass laden music with them...not tight or natural at all, this is their biggest flaw...the studio series is decent

at that price look at energy, kef, b&w, monitor audio, boston

If you can use US$ and purchase Paradigm in Canada, it becomes very hard to beat at that price.

You can always do better if your wallet is big enough!

Listen to as many as you can in your price range.

With a better description of your preferences and $$ range, you can get excellent advice here.
