The cp-50 is having spasms, specially when powered down. It does not have an off switch, nor a standy...just plugged in and on. When power fails, as it seems to, the unit has 'issues' coming back on line. Like, I have to recycle the power, via the plug a dozen times for it to come back normal. Disconcerting to say the least. The DR5 has no display to bug it all up, ans has the phono which I will 'someday' need, and is reputed to be quite good. Still no re,ote, however(mine didn't make the quick move, likey in a pyre with all my other stuff, LOL). |
