I have seen these before, and the guy really wants to sell them. I despise my current speakers (15 yr PSB Silver Stratus, reworked)and would like a changeout. These are rare, so if anybody has any input, I am all ears. http://www.canuckaudiomart.com/details/83660-gallo_nucleus_reference_ultimates_s peakers_ultimate_crossoverless_speakers_see_reviews/ Powered by the Classe, I have multiple amps. Thanks, folks. |

Hope you already have a girlfriend...otherwise you might be a tough sell with those. Since when do you hate the PSB's...you've bragged 'em up on numerous occasions... |

Art, I have made them so much better that they were, I hope I have not bragged unduly I want to see what the Classe can do in a different way, given thst I like the flat earth approach. The PSB's can, and will rock, but need the sub, and the Velo dps12 is insufficient to the task. I want to regrade to Gallo's, these just caught my eye, cause they be funky. I like the Gallo 3.1 as well, and a pair ae available close enough, for 2k. I fell in love with Mike's set, but that was with the mighty Mac...I think I can come close. Just shopping, but the homeowner(not g/f now) says go ahead, as long as I do not take up ant more floorspace than now. That works for me. Still no room for the vpi, but have a line on a Classe DR5 pre with a very good phono setup... |

Hope it works out. I must misunderstand "flat earth". Hopefully you can get your table hooked up one day soon. |

Art, 'flat earth' is close to the Naim presentation. Very little depth, no imaging trickery, just straight out...thats my gig. That's my story and I am drinking to it! Cheers, bud. |

Nuck, I see you peruse CAM too. I'm on there pretty much every day. If fuels my addiction. That link that you posted will maybe go down in history as the most verbose classified in history. But what about the speakers? You gonna give them a listen? |
