I have a Harmon Kardon surround sound unit in my motorhome with a Onan 10kw generator. It ran the unit for about 30 days fine and now it will turn on and shut off in 30 seconds. I can run it off my power inverter 12 volt to 110 volt fine or when we are plugged up to shore power at campground. Wondering what type of filtering system I need for it to work on generator. When I travel down the road and run my air conditioners I have to use the generator and it over rides the inverter or I would just use the inverter all the time. Any suggestions would be of great help. Thanks, Budde

you need a power stabilizer. That's the problem with a lot of generators...they are not built for sensitive equipment and Harman Kardon is sensitive to power surges.
