I have a chance to acquire a McIntosh C-28 preamp (and Mc MR-74 Tuner as well) for a decent price ($450 or so for amp) and was wondering whether there will be enough of an upgrade, if any, from my current Belles XLM preamp to justify this purchase. I am using a Belles 200 SS amp with Totem Mani 2's and mainly listen to vinyl. Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this issue.
