I have an Infinity center channel speaker (Not sure on model)and two rear Bose speakers (the two small cubes). For a Tunner I have a Pioneer VSXD1S, I have been having an issue with the center channel and need some help. What happens is I will be watching TV, Movie ect and sound is great then center channel audio goes to a lower volume for anywhere from a minute to 3 minutes and then it goes back to normal for ever sometimes or 30 minutes and then back to low and so on. What is doing this I checked the cable and it is fine.

Thanks

I doubt it's your speaker. More likely the center channel section on your receiver that's acting up.

You could swap out one of your front speakers for the center and see if the same behavior continues. If it does, then you know it's the receiver and not the speaker.

That's a rather unconventional setup you have there Tim.

Did you mean ideas on two nice front speakers?

How old is the receiver?

Yes, Ideas on front speakers and a sub woffer.

The reciever was bought back in 1991, so it is old but has a ton of hook up's and options. Pioneer makes nice stuff, I think.

Thanks
