Is SACD and DVD-A ofically dead? I have not seen anything in stores recently, and all I see as far as marketing is that HDCD... is it just me or is that BS? |

DVD-A is all but dead and is being absorbed into the Blu-Ray camp. SACD is still alive among the smaller, inpedendent producers. Check Telarc's web page. Also Stereophile's Kal Rubinson lists several new multichannel works each month though his emphasis is more on classical than any other style. Place "SACD" into a search engine and you'll find producers selling the discs.
