Will the Athena LS-100's pair well with an ONKYO TX8222 receiver? What am I looking for that makes them pair nicely?

If the room's not too big and you're not looking for really high volume, it should be fine.

Ideally you'd want a speaker with at least 90db sensitivity to make the most out of the Onkyo's 50wpc, which isn't much especially since Onkyo is notorious for inflated specs.
