Hello - I am new to all of this. Would like some help choosing a new reciever for my bedroom. As of now I have:
Samsung LNT32450 lcd
A pair of Paradigm Atom speakers
Going to buy either the Paradigm pdr-8 or 10 sub or a HSU sub.
Blue ray dvd player - not sure which brand yet.
Looking at buying a pair of Paradigm monitor 20 speakers.
As far as recievers I have been looking at the Denon 887 and 888.
I also will be getting a Comcast HD box this week and would like to keep it under $500.00. I am no audiophile but do what something that sounds good.

? Do you mean Paradigm Studio 20's? Great speaker.
I am guessing, going from your post, that this is going to be a full surround sound setup? |

Which version of Atoms do you have? The v5s are pretty awesome little speakers. I've used them for rear-surrounds before and it was almost a waste of their talents.
Never had any experience with the Denon AVRs, but I they don't seem too popular around these parts. |
