Hi I have a current setup of a NAD c521 cd player, Nad c350 amp and a pair of AudioNote AN-SP speakers. My wife hates the look of my inherited AudioNote speakers (giant wooden crates even though they sound great). I want to buy a new pair of speakers for my NAD amp but have no idea what i should go for. It is a 20x10 feet sized lounge so i was thinking floor standers. I have up to about £400 ($800) to spend and am willing to consider 2nd hand or new. I listen to all kinds of music. Many thanks for any and all advice |

PSB Speakers have great synergy with NAD products.(Their both owned by the same company) Others to listen to would be IMO: Paradigm Monitor Audio I would try to listen to something local if possible. |

My advice would be keep the speakers and upgrade your cd player, or add a dac. Of course, this will make you happy and not your wife, and only you can make that choice....and it's a tough one. There is an excellent chance you'll buy new speakers and not take a step forward sonically. Especially in that price range. Can you refinish the exterior of the cabinets to make them look more acceptable ? |

Save up your money and buy B&W 600 Series floorstanders. |
