Hello again. Has anybody experience good or bad with the Creek Classic 5350 SE Integrated? I am very close to making a purchase but I wouldn't mind some feedback from others. I understand there are some sonic characteristics that are different from the original 5350 SE.

As for the CD player being used it is a Rega Apollo through Energy C5s (which I still think are fantastic speakers for the budget thin among us).

Thanks for any input folks.

:-)

Well if it anything like Classic Coke then...

I had the original 5350 SE for a time and really liked it until I started getting into the next level of gear. Then it became too short in amplification and too much everything when used only as a pre-amp. But with my Monitor Audio Silver 8is and a Rotel player it was great. When I went to the Apollo the Creek begin to show me I needed something different, something more.

Unfortunately I have no experience with the Classic.
