Well you're sending her here for a bang up tour so she must have done something well there.

If not, look for another package from me in the mail....LOL.

I am back to Vertical Horizon yet again. I can put money on it that "Everything You Want" is one of my most played albums. I absolutely love it.

Stellar harmonies driving wholesome sounding rock is addicting to me. While the album is quite produced, I can't get enough of the vocals. The fact that I truly enjoy the music as well does not hurt either.

I did, Art. I apologize for not getting back to you. It's Pinewood Derby time of year and me and the kid were busy yesterday shaping and sanding and dremeling and on and on.

I have Jason Vieaux on order so far. I listened to the samples of Brad Mehldau as well. I will probably follow up with the Anything Goes disc. Thanks for the recommendations!

has anyone heard (or own any music by) Sia? I saw a CD of hers in Starbucks, with a label putting her style as her own, and with a great voice. Listened to several clips online. She seems to have a voice reminiscent of Amy Winehouse.

Just want to know before I buy. I have bought some duds in the past.

Just about all the discs I have bought as of late have been replacements for iTunes downloads.

Thanks a bunch fellas...

Listenin' to some jazz:

The Roy Hargorve/Christian McBride/Stephen Scott Trio - Parker's Mood, Great CD.

Moved the Rega system back out in the main room and REALLY, REALLY appreciating it after having listened to nothing but vintage gear for several months. Love my oldies but wow do I love the Rega. I've placed the system on a wall where it has never been and for the first time there isn't a TV between the speakers...pics coming this weekend or next.

Before the above mentioned jazz I joined my wife in her office to listen to:

Ali Farka Toure & Toumani Diabete - In the Heart of the Moon.
