i bought this turntable, which just arrived today. i live in norway, so our plugs are different, but i had an adapter, so i thought it'd be fine. when i turned it on, though, it spun maybe three or four times and then went dead. i think it might be a voltage problem, but i'm not sure. unless it got damaged on the way here. what do you think, is there anything i can do?

.

I know nobody wants to hear this but if there was something you could do, wouldn't you have done it by now? If you open the case, you'll void the warraty. Call the shop where you bought the merchandise.
