I have a Sony PS-lX4. It's an automatic turntable so obviously once the record has finished the arm returns to it's starting position and the turntable slows to a halt. For some reason the other day, the record had finished, the arm had returned to the side but the turntable continued spinning and wouldn't stop (so I had to turn it off the plug). I powered it back up a while later and the turntable started spinning again even though the arm was in the start position. So basically the thing will carry on spinning until I unplug the record player. Does anyone know what's gone wrong and how I can fix it? It still plays records but there's obviously something wrong with it otherwise it would stop spinning. Any help would be much appreciated =) |

. How you can fix it? You mean like tell you what part has slipped a cog and how to get it back in place? Or do you mean tell you what repair shop to take it to so they can fix it for you? |

Let it spin, it won't hurt it. |
