When I see the same album on different formats such as DVD-A and SACD. How can one tell which is better from another? Is there a website where I can see the reviews of those albums that were released on both formats? I was looking at Diana Krall's LOVE SCENES DVDA, and then I realized that the same album is also available on SACD. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ryan |

I believe which sounds better is more player dependant than anything else. My Onkyo SP800 for example, just does DVD-A better. |

I think they both sound great. Who cares which is better. Our alternative these days is MP3... |

Since i need to have analog connections to enjoy dvd-a/sacd, do i also need to connect say 5 pair cables(less the sub)from receiver to player to enjoy multichannel sacd or i need to only have the right n left analog and just have a 5.1 speaker set-up? |

2 pair and a spare (probably means 3 pair which = a spare). In other words you need one cable per channel + sub. |

DVD-A has a stronger output than SACD. All depends on what set up you have such as AMP & player. DVD-A can be played on any DVD player and SACD can only play on supported players. I have both! The way I see it is if you can get your SACD's to play in 5.1 Muli-channel you'll pull a great sound, then you should be in your eliment! |
