Sorry if I don't put in enough details on this but I don't know much about subs.

I just bought a Sony PS100 sub...is it good, bad? All I know is it is really #$@!# heavy and is in good condition...was I burned by paying $50.00 for it?

Thanks in advance.

If it works and you like it, then it's righteous.

Sony? Paradigm? I get those 2 mixed up all the time too. Seriously though, if it's a Paradigm, then it is doubly righteous.

LOL. YCRDFV- Big difference in SOny and Paradigm. 50 dollars for a big Sony, is an OK deal. 50 dollars for a big heavy Paradigm, is an amazing deal. Which model is it? If it is the one im thinking of, I will be sick to learn you got it for 50 dollars. Does the guy have anymore?lol.

That looks like it...also got a pair of Paradigm Phantom bookshelf speakers, a paradigm centre speaker and a pair of Cerwin-Vega AT-12 for a total of $150.00 (including the sub)

Could have had a Sony GA8ES receiver for another $50.00 but someone else bought it first..

Just have to figure out how to set it up with my Onkyo receiver (another friend who upgraded gave it to me I don't have the model number with me. it wiehgt a ton as well!) ...Hopefully will sound good...when i am playing Guitar Hero..

Thanks

LOL Guitar Hero is great.

Wow sounds like you have yourself a decent surround sound system for 150 dollars. Congrats on that. Someone couldnt give me 50 dollars to take a Sony Receiver.lol. So best that you didnt buy it, the Onkyo that you got for free should sound better. Good stuff.

Yeah Nuck, the baby takes priority over the hobby of course and most of the time I'm too tired to be out looking for bargains.

Nick, it's killing me... what's YCRDRV?
