I am having some problems with my elite PD-F27 cd changer skating or skipping on random cds. I have read that this was a problem in this unit. Was just wondering if anyone out there has this unit and if so, has experienced such problems. When I take it to the shop, it never does it for them and so back and forth I go. It is getting quite tiresome as I have to remove 300 cds every time. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Thanks.

Brent

Hey, it sounds like you might have some dirty CDs, defective CDs,or some other external issue is causing your PD-F27 to react adversely. WHen you load discs make sure they are indeed CLEAN of fingerprints. Also, CD-Rs and CD-RWs have been know to cause weird errors on equipment--no matter how high end they are. I have two PD-F27s and I love them. They are far superior to anything Sony has put out in the Mega Disc storage arena.
