Playing (and trying to record) some of my vinyl albums,I'm hearing the song at a low volume for a split second before the song begins. This is creating a kind of (what I call) 'pre-echo' that continues thru the whole album. I'm going to change to a new cartridge hoping the problem is a worn-out needle, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this trouble and resolved it? |

. The problem is not due to a worn stylus. The problem is this is the way vinyl behaves when the manufacturer doesn't give a crap. |

The record manufacturer or the turntable manufacturer? (And you're right...changing the stylus didn't help.) |
