I kinda ran out of money setting up my home theater system for now so i wanted to use the amp and my sub that i have in my truck for the time being. Alright I have a poweracoustik 1200watt sapphire series amp, an alpine 12 inch type-r sub and i'm ordering a pioneer vsk-d812k. I have been trying to figure out a way to hook my amp up. I was looking on radioshacks website and i found a 12 volt ac to dc adapter but i don't think it's going to be able to handle the juice i'm going to need but i don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You wont be able to play it loud but it will work. I have to tell you that you can probably get a low-end sub for around $60 if you watch the sales so don't spend too much money.

Hope this helps.
