I have the Onkyo 604 ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000HD7FGM)with the Fluance AV-SC (http://www.fluance.com/fluancemv670c.html) and a pair of the Fluance AV-F3(http://www.fluance.com/fldycothhisp.html). (I will add the Fluance AV-BP2 Sattilites (http://www.fluance.com/fluanbipsurs.html) once I get the extra $100 ). I want to add an inexpensive but decent quality sub. I have been suggested the Velo VX-10 (http://www.6ave.com/shop/product.aspx?ref=cnet&utm_source=CNET&utm_medium=cpc&ut m_campaign=VLDVX10&sku=VLDVX10), Velo VRP1000 (http://www.electronics-expo.com/make-a-store/item/VLDVRP1000/Velodyne-Acoustics/ VRP1000/42.html), AV123 X-Sub (http://www.av123.com/products_product.php?section=subwoofers&product=12.1), HSU STF-1 (http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/stf-1.html), BIC V80 (http://www.acoustechspeakers.com/showpage.php?brand=2&type=8&spkrID=42), or Either Fluance Sub (http://www.fluance.com/centerspeakers.html) So just give me your vote and reason... Thanks! P.S. I estimate the room is 15x 10 but isn't closed off... Here's the plan... http://i18.tinypic.com/5z5qyhf.gif I don't want to shake the walls but I would like as good quality as I can get. |

I can vouch for the VX-10. Great sub for a budget system. |

Geez, everyone seems to like Hsu. Maybe I should get one too. Might be hard to convince the wife why I need another subwoofer ;-) |

X-Sub both looks and sounds good. Hsu a close second. |
