Mike, you are asking for a schematic for a Digital-to-Analogue Converter. I Googled and found this: http://courses.washington.edu/jbcallis/lectures/C464_Lec5_Sp-02.pdf In principle one can make anything but commercial DACs are mass-produced cheaply and this is one case where just getting one from an electronic components supplier is a good choice.
thanks the reason why i ask is because i have to do a design project for a EE class. And i thought that this might be a good project. Do you have anything more info. I am leaning toward a digital audio signal (like out of a DVD player) and converting it to an analog preamp signal. thanks
