So this would be my first venture into the home audio section lol, so sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking this. i have an str-de897 and use the sub pre out line which is connected to a klh s120eth amp. basically my problem is that in order for the amp to turn on, i must turn the volume up to a certain point on the receiver, which causes a real annoyance when i don't want it that loud. now is this my receiver not sending a hot enough signal? or could it be the amp not picking it up at low volumes? also, i can turn it up so the amp comes on, then turn it down and get the level i want, but it turns off eventually, leaving me back at square one. thanks in advance |

Should be a switch on the amp for on/off/auto. Change it from auto to on. |
