ok heres the issue on hand. I have a 10" pioneer sub hooked up to a 500watt jenson amp. Now recently the amplifier has been acting up, I now noticed that when the music hits hard(kick or bassline) the amp's protection light comes on, no bass from the sub. I have 4 gauge rockford fosgate wires used, the ground wire is hooked up to a metal screw in my civic. My guess is there is a grounding issue. can someone elaborate on this issue |
