Hi Everyone,

I am setting up a 7.1 system for 80% movies and 20% music with budget of 1k incl of receiver. (may be 200$ more) at my basement room size of about 15x20.

I have chosen Yamaha RXV659 / Denon 1907 and Fluance SX-HTB + SX SS + Subwoofer (Not decided)

I have not heard these speakers but I read lot of reviews looks like they are pretty good.
Please post me your opinion about the receiver, speaker and sub selection.

Thank you all

Cad, I presume that you have chosen with the help of a good dealer so far.

I have heard the Fluance speakers, and even own the center channel for my secondary HT system. They're actually not bad for the money.

Fluance speakers are not bad. I believe that they make great budget speakers.
