recently i have purchased a Venturer AV1000. It only has 100 watt output but its still good for my little room. Its sounds good but the only problem is a tiny sub. Is there a way to upgrade my sub with only 100 watt output total power?

Hi Jeff,
I have the same unit that you do. I contacted Customer Support to get a breakdown of the watts for each speaker. They told me that the sub is 25 watts. I don't see why you couldn't purchase a better sub, as long as the ohms value works (I think these are all 8 ohms). I actually purchased a sony center channel speaker on Ebay, and use that instead of the one that was supplied. It works and sounds great. Also, check out this thread, someone else rigged up a custom system, using the receiver we have:

Hope this helps.
