How good are the b&w dm601s(including the different series). I know they're expensive speakers and ebay has a few going for a good price. Im wondering if anybody has any thoughts here. Cheers |

No,the diamond 8.1's are a better speaker,if anything go to the 9.1's a big improvement over the 8.1's but retaining all the 8.1s strengths,their detail in the treble and midrange is exemplary on speaker costing $1500 www.wildwest.com has them for $319 a pair. |

I ordered some Tannoy Sensys DC1s instead. Also rated as good as $1500 which I read somewhere ("between $1000-$2000"). I'll be able to compare my diamonds and the tannoys to see what I can make of the differences. I'm still surprised the 9.1s are rated so much better than the 8.1s! |

what do you guys think about def-tech and axiom how do they compare. i am looking to upgrade my 7.1 dont want to spend much more than 2000 dollars and use an Onkyo sr-804 reciever. |
