Hi,
I am going to be purchasing a Samsung LNS 4096D 40' LCD TV with HDMI and also a speaker system harman kardon hkts15 5.1 channel home system. Sub is 100 watts
I am stuck on the receiver to get. I want HDMI, able to accomdate a vcr, dvd player(has digital optical output slot). I want Xm radio as I have that. Around 95 - 100 watts per channel, has a radio also as I will be selling my hifi older stereo system.
I want to pay around 300 dollars and having trouble selecting one. I don't know which brand is better. I have been two a few stores and they all push different brands, so from what they tell you about them. how do I know they are just pushing to make a sale.
Please let me know what you think or suggest.

My reasoning would be purchase a H/K receiver since you are purchasing H/K speakers.
Otherwise, I can't really find HDMI at that price with the brands I like. |

try stretching your budget with a factory refurb from Harman-Kardon's site. Same factory warranty
