I'm planning on purchasing an NAD C 272 to drive my front speakers on my HT system. Looking at the rear of the amp there are actually 4 sets of binding posts (enough to hook up 4 speakers). My (potentially) stupid question is how does this work? I will be running the left/right preamp outs from my receiver for the fronts into the left/right inputs of the NAD. Does this mean that I can run an additional set of speakers off the "A" channel of the receiver when the NAD is connected? |

I was just at my local NAD dealer last night talking about this amp, and the salesguy there said the recommended configuration for the NAD C272 was to use the extra pair of binding posts to bi-wire the speakers. This makes sense since there is no A/B switch on the amp to toggle a second set of speakers on/off. |
