I have one. Up here in Canada they sell for around $300, so $139 US is not bad.

I actually like the sub. It's a tad on the boomy side, but it's great for listening to music if you tune it right.

It all depends on the room it's in and the gear it's hooked up to, of course. But I did find that moving the sub out of a corner and instead placing it along a wall removed some of the boominess. I also set the crossover relatively low (somewhere around 70 Hz I believe) and fiddled with the volume until it no longer seemed like it was overwhelming the other speakers in my system.

I'm actually thinking of picking up another one and running them in tandem.
