Is this possible, without a dedicated subwoofer output on the amp? Two, fine quality, screw-down binding posts, with banana facility. Bi-wired to pair of Gale 3030, two way speakers. How does it work; where does it go and can it be done with a 2 channel amp, without blowing it up? Thanks, V |

Varney, the sub has speaker level inputs, paralleled to the main speaker leads. |

What...? You mean, you connect the sub to the amp, then run the other two speakers off the sub? V |

Possibly, but not ideally. The sub just 'scabs' a full range signal from the speaker leads (not affecting the impedence load the amp sees)and allows it's own XO to deliver the bass, usually via a frequency selector on the sub. Badda Boom Badda Bing. |
