I'm a new audiophile and i bought the Polk PSW12 because the price was great. The sound is loud, and I use the unfiltered LFE connection, but I think it's not crisp and I feel it could be fine tuned to handle a more dynamic range. The instructions hardly give details about the functions and settings of the PHASE SWITCH (0 vs. 180) and the LOW PASS dial (60 up to 160) other than saying to set everything "where it sounds best." No matter what setting they are at, it all sounds the same to me. Being a newbie I'm not sure what to listen for when setting these. What do these functions do and any tips for setting them? thx.}}
