any comments on marantz's cd players..
i think they make awesome cd players...
i have a marantz cd-53 for 15yrs now, made in hungary and not even once given for repairs..
how are denon cd players and also nad..
are they any good...

i had a "beater" sony which was great five cd disc player.then briefly a denon 390 which i quickly upgraded to a cambridge AZUR 640c v2 and the difference was profound.
so when i think of cd players i think cambridge
also isonodes made a difference as well(with the cambridge)

Well i'm using a nad 525 for the price and performance i could not be happier simple man with simple tastes but dont forget the r's rotel and rega. Hey was the 390 that bad?? I was considering it for a changer.........
