Dave Fabrikant left M&K 8-9 years ago. The Ascend Acoustics 170 has been out for over 7 years now. The Blue Sky guys left years ago too. I believe Rotel has some former M&K talent also that left M&K years ago. JL Audio home audio products dude came and left after those guys.

The real question may be what happened at M&K that so many engineers left at that time. Has(was?)there been a new M&K product of note in the last 6-7 or so years?

From reading Ken Kreisel's statement at that link it seems his issue is with his contracted overseas production company. Sounds like he tried to move production overseas without doing enough to protect himself/ his products. How did 5 months of this bankrupt M&K?
