I'm looking to replace a POS old Aiwa bookshelf system with a nicer mini system for the bedroom. A couple of years back (last time I checked) several of the bigs were in this market--Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo. Now it seems left to the Wal-Mart brands. Are there any worthwhile mini systems on the market any more, or am I best off watching ebay for a used one to show up? |

my GF just got a smallish JVC i think around $200-250 and it sounds very nice and doubles as a DVD has USB ports.
and i know they make higher end verisons.
so look into them as well
