Just got a Mint Pioneer VSX-9700s. Hooked it up and no rear or center channels. Does not work with test tone either. I have checked it all!
ANY suggestions ??????

And by the way, Mint was the discription I was given before payment, sucker was my title after.
I think I can get a refund. Any suggestions for new, and I guess not Pioneer

700$ range and mostly home theater, and don't wory, I can take it, some of it is deserved.

Indeed. Pioneer is current with most of the brands nowadays.
The Elite brand demands sommore money, and warranties their product for a more reasonable amount of time.

The stuff just should not break.
It never used to.

Integra makes decent HT receivers with better than average service records (and they actually sound pretty good).

I think Jan has some feelings related to the Pioneer stuff or perhaps the mass marketed gear in general....ya think.
