hi ,just wondering if this means my amp is faulty:i have a month old marantz pm7200 ki int.amp ,and i am getting a crackling, popping and then eventually humming noise through one of my channels (other speaker channel is fine).have narrowed it down and can eliminate speakers and speaker cable as source of prob. which just leaves my practically new superb marantz amp.does this mean it is indeed faulty or can something else be the cause of this interference? thanks. |

It's probably a cold solder joint and needs to be taken in for service. Stop using it as it can damage your speakers. |

Maybe Ken Ishiwata shoulda kept his hands off it lol! Sorry to make light of your situation, but Art has got it nailed. At least it's under warranty being almost new. |
