That Linkwitz guy seems to some kind of god, at least that the impression I get from my reading on DIY forums. Interesting what he says about dipolar tweeters. This rear-wave phenomenon is one of the reasons I prefer my $300 Visaton B200 open baffles to any box speaker I have ever heard(I dont mean that as a figure of speech). I kinda given up hifi for a while, you know how it is when you get a system you are happy with, even if it doesnt always last forever. still read here occasionally but spending more time listening to music than with the pc. cheers for now b |
