What do you guys think of Polk Subs such as the PSW12 compared to subs like low end SVS and HSU subs in terms of construction and sound?

Polk subs are subs, Hsu do nothing but subs, like SVS.
How do you want a sub to augment you setup?

Hsu is better than both of the others. I wouldn't have an SVS or Polk sub. I didn't even ask the application because it doesn't really matter.

The only way an SVS might be a better choice than Hsu is if you were building a huge HT that would only be used for theater. At that point the Ultra subs are unequaled.
