Hi, First post, sorry if it is a repeat. But what is the story with the SDAT 8" sub? I just read a VERY long post on the SDAT 404 speaker, so I'm now inclined to believe that this unit may be OK, not great , but OK. Trying to stay low priced, but willing to spend more if I get a much better product. thanks, Brett W All comments are appreciated |

SDAT may not be the best bet. MartinLogan had the Dynamo on closeout at Magnolia for $300 of $399, which is a steal for this subwoofer. It is truly a great performer, especially for that price. |

didn't see the van, it may have been repainted to almost any neutral color. Fact is I'm torn between a cheap new sub, older (maybe good) used JBL 12" sub and the Martin Logan if I could find it for 400 and not the 600 Best Buy sells it for. |

Try what you want, brett, I would shoot for the ML. I have zero experience with SDAT, just the buzz on the forums that say white van. It may be covered in shelfpaper. Quick getaway. |

I love JBL but their subs suck, I would go for the ML or maybe HSU or SVS if you can deal with not hearing it first. Find a Jamo D4SUB and have your own slice of heaven would be choice number one hee hee |

If Magnolia still has the ML Dynamo in silver you can get it for less than $400. |
